Licensing Edit

To be the control operator of an amateur radio station, you must have a license issued by the Federal Communications Commission. You earn your license by passing one or more written tests. Testing sessions are conducted by amateur radio volunteer examiners and the tests are multiple choice questions selected from pools of questions that are published. Almost every month you can find an exam session within 50 miles of Blacksburg.
